9/29/11- Today we made a step in the right direction.  This bill will limit the number of passengers for teen drivers and also extend the training period for 16 year olds from 50 to 65 hours before they can get a license.  It will also make the seat belt a primary offense for teen drivers.  Today, Jim Clair did several interviews with the media.  KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin and Jim Clair agree that the bill did fall short with cell phone use, but agree it’s a start.  KDKA TV’s John Shumway does a TV interview with Jim Clair and they take a ride on the road.
