Winter Driving Skills

11/27/12 – With snow, ice, sleet, and anything else that mother nature can throw at us.  It is very important to be prepared for the extreme changes in our weather.  Driving in these conditions is almost inevitable and something that just can’t be avoided.  The best thing you hear out there is simply don’t drive in dangerous conditions.  Well, we all know that we have to pay the bills!  Ultimate Defensive Driving School developed a training session for employees of companies both big and small to review hazard recognition and analysis to avoid becoming a statistic.  This is a 45 to 60 minute session designed for safety meetings, group hazard analysis, and general safe driving practices throughout all facets of winter driving.   If you would like to discuss the investment in your employees and their well being call Ultimate Defensive Driving.  lastly, do good pretrip inspections and always keep a supply of washer fluid in the vehicle.  Second, on a long trip or if your driving takes you to remote places, always have an emergency kit in the car containing at least a flashlight, blankets, hand warmers, mittens, food, and a lighter.  stay safe during the winter and at all times!
