2/23/12- Ultimate Defensive Driving School is proud to participate in KDKA and Dollar Energy Funds drive for contributions. Jim Clair is recognized as a Home Town Hero Contributor. Jim and his wife Janine Have dinner with Bishop David Zubik, Marty Griffin, and Kristine Sorensen- Griffin. The very successful fund drive raised over $300,000.00. Our thanks also goes to Kevin Joyce Owner of The Carlton Restaurant in Pittsburgh for donating dinner!

2/10/12- To better serve our clients UDD sends Brittany Clair to Notary Public School. Brittany received her stamp and certification to help streamline our client’s Department of Motor Vehicles paperwork. Our clients can now enjoy senior license applications in a one stop shop service. After a client completes both the online theory and behind the wheel training with Ultimate Defensive Driving School and they have a clean driving record they are eligible to get their senior license at 17 1/2. Clients simply need to request the form.

Their part is to prepare drilling sites with heavy equipment. Shallenberger expects all it employees to be safe when on and off the job. Penn Hills High School Presentation

11/15/11- Working in conjunction with Commander Robert Morabito USN (Retired) and Penn Hills School District Ultimate Defensive Driving School will be doing a teen driving workshop with the student body. Commander Morabito said, ”We want to reduce the risk and risky behavior while teens drive. We are trying to do our part with our future leaders.” Jim Clair spent the morning on 11/15/11 with the Commander in his classes and said, ” We have a bright future with students like this.” If your school would like to have Jim show you how the presentation can impact your students email or call for more info. National Safety Council Certifies UDDS as Trainers

11/09/11- The National Safety Council Certifies UDDS as trainers. This certification will give the UDDS the ability to train adult clients in a defensive driver course. Most insurance companies recognize NSC for insurance discounts. this will also allow UDDS to give their commercial clients an added feature for their employees. Also, the companies that use UDDS may be able to have their underwriters reduce premiums.

Teen Texting Bill Passes!

11/5/11- UDDS has been an advocate of eliminating teens texting behind the wheel. The bill passed and was signed into law by Gov. Corbett.
