1/22/12- Weigand Home Improvements in Valencia, PA has Ultimate Defensive Driving School beef up his safety training.  Andy Weigand adds UDDS training as an employee benefit to keep his employees safe.  Andy also says it will help with employee retention in the future.

1/11/12- North Point Dental brings Ultimate Defensive Driving in to do a “lunch and learn” with its’ staff.  North Point Dental located in Cranberry has well over 25 employees. 1/10/12- KMI Investments LLC. is a leader in providing water service to the Marcellus Shale industry.  KMI provides: vacuum trucks, frac tanks, SRBC permitted fresh water withdraw, and oversize load hauling.  KMI has 50 drivers and wants to keep them and their image intact with safety.  KMI has contracted with UDDS to provide best in-class defensive driver training to its’ drivers.  UDDS will provide customized training and certifications to the needs of KMI thus making the high impact training more useful to the employees.

1/5/12- Shallenberger Construction Company is a large employer in Connellsville, PA.  They are also involved in the Marcellus Shale Industry.  Their part is to prepare drilling sites with heavy equipment.  Shallenberger expects all it employees to be safe when on and off the job.  UDDS will train the drivers of Shallenberger on defensive driving techniques and raise the bar in safety in the industry.  Shallenberger Safety Director, Kevin Johnston wants his employes to understand that driving is the #1 reason for employee fatalities.  Therfore, we treat our employees as if they are part of our family and want them safe

11/15/11- Working in conjunction with Commander Robert Morabito USN (Retired) and Penn Hills School District Ultimate Defensive Driving School will be doing a teen driving workshop with the student body.  Commander Morabito said, ”We want to reduce the risk and risky behavior while teens drive.  We are trying to do our part with our future leaders.”  Jim Clair spent the morning on 11/15/11 with the Commander in his classes and said, ” We have a bright future with students like this.”  If your school would like to have Jim show you how the presentation can impact your students email or call for more info.  Ultimate Defensive Driving does the presentations at no cost to the school.

11/09/11- The National Safety Council Certifies UDDS as trainers.  This certification will give the UDDS the ability to train adult clients in a defensive driver course.  Most insurance companies recognize NSC for insurance discounts.  this will also allow UDDS to give their commercial clients an added feature for their employees.   Also, the companies that use UDDS may be able to have their underwriters reduce premiums.

11/5/11- UDDS has been an advocate of eliminating teens texting behind the wheel. The bill passed and was signed into law by Gov. Corbett. Jim Clair presented his side on KDKA, WPXI, and KDKA Radio’s John Shumways show! “We need to keep our teens safe and best that we can they are our future.” Jim stated. you can watch his KDKA TV interview here.

9/29/11- Today we made a step in the right direction.  This bill will limit the number of passengers for teen drivers and also extend the training period for 16 year olds from 50 to 65 hours before they can get a license.  It will also make the seat belt a primary offense for teen drivers.  Today, Jim Clair did several interviews with the media.  KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin and Jim Clair agree that the bill did fall short with cell phone use, but agree it’s a start.  KDKA TV’s John Shumway does a TV interview with Jim Clair and they take a ride on the road. 9/16/11- Core Compliance Group hires UDDS to train one of their major clients in defensive driving techniques.  Core’s client has several locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.  The company sells and delivers all types of commercial trucks in several industries.  Most recently delivering trucks to Marcellus Shale industry.

9/15/11-  Jim Clair and Brittany Clair meet with Sewickley Academy Officials to provide a presentation on the dangers of text messaging while driving.  UDDS has spoke and many schools and will speak at at schools on a no fee basis.  UDDS also will not commercialize the presentation in anyway.  UDDS feels that it should be about keeping kids safe.
